In honour of Earth Day, IFTM University in collaboration with National Environmental Science Academy and RAS – Bio will be organizing an National Seminar on “ENVIRONMENT AND LEGACY TO SAVE THE MOTHER EARTH” on 22-23 April, 2020 at IFTM University, Lodhipur Rajput, Delhi Road, NH-24, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The seminar will bring together students, researchers, academicians, scientists, managers and other professionals in order to celebrate Earth Day and address the emerging environmental issues. It will provide platforms for earth scientist, chemists, engineers, pollution experts and biologists for critical discussion in key areas of environmental sciences. The main aim of the seminar is to create awareness regarding the Earth Day and discuss the present day environmental issues. The speakers will talk about the key issues and importance of conservation and management of environmental resources among delegate and the public. The seminar will also contribute to understand the major environmental problems arising due to industrial activities, harmful and extensive practices of agriculture, transportation, urbanization activities along with climate change in developing countries.


IFTM University (Institute of Foreign Trade and Management) is a Private university located in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1] IFTM University was granted university status by UP government vide IFTM University Act No. 24 of 2010. It was established in 1996 and located at a distance of 12 km (7.5 mi) from Moradabad city on Lucknow – Delhi National Highway (NH-24). National Environmental Science Academy was founded by Late Prof TRC Sinha and it was registered in 1988 at Patna under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The main objective of the Academy is to bring awareness about environmental issues among the masses by arranging lectures, workshops, training programmes, seminars, symposia, conferences, publishing journals, etc.
